Common Appliance Problems in Splendora Homes
Well water problems
Homes on wells around Splendora often see sediment in their water. It can block washer and dishwasher inlet screens and clog refrigerator water filters, which leads to slow filling and small ice cubes.
Freezers in the heat
A chest freezer or second refrigerator in a hot garage or carport works hard in summer. Keep the coils clean and leave space around it for air. If it gets warm inside, call before you lose the food.
Lightning and surges
Summer storms in east Montgomery County bring lightning and power surges. These can damage the control boards in newer appliances. If something stops working after a storm, check the breaker first, then call us.
Dryer lint and long vents
A dryer that takes two cycles is often a clogged vent, not a broken dryer. Lint in the vent also raises fire risk. Our dryer cleaning is $175.
